Why am I here?

I am here at college because I want to get my education. Ever since i was younger, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I used to make my younger sisters sit and do work that I would assign them in our little school room downstairs. My whole family has always said that I would be a teacher someday. So i decided to come to college and fulfill my dreams of being a elementary school teacher. My teachers in high school, counselors, principals, etc., all really pushed the idea of college on us throughout our four years. I think that really helped me as well and got me better prepared for succeeding in college. My whole family is pretty much teachers too. My granny, nana, dad, and mom all have the profession of teaching. I also feel like college will make me a better, more organized, person than I was previously. I really am stuck right now and trying to think of something else to say about why I am in college. I also feel like an education is a very important, crucial thing to have in today’s modern society. Almost everyone in the working world has attained a college degree for something in their lifetime. Those who don’t have a higher failing rate, lower pay, and a harder time finding a job. I never want to struggle for money during my life, so I made the decision to enroll at the university of Louisville and begin working on my mastering my career. My whole family has also successfully went through college. They are there to help me, to push me, and support me throughout my college experience. They know what it feels like being a college student, and my parents are another big reason why I’m here. My grandparents are also another big reason. They made the decision to go to college late in their lifetime, and now they are doing so much better. I saw that change, and that also played as a deciding factor for me. I was always really good at hair, and I could’ve always chosen the easy way out and went to Paul Mitchell hair school. But, seeing their pay and how much I love children, I knew I had to attend college and get my degree in the field I’ve always been in love with, education. I then started “pinterestin” cute ideas for my new classroom, and thats when I also made my decision.
